Ready to join?

Stick to your fluency level.  Attending a fluency level higher or lower than your own reduces the quality of valuable practice time for the members who are at that level.

• Your fluency level should change over time.  Addie will let you know if she thinks your ready to move up.

  • If you take a break from practicing (or if you are really stressed out), your level might go down.  Considering that our community is fluency-focused, Addie will tell you if you need to move levels (see the first bullet point).  But take heart!  Fluency often comes back quickly, after some practice (trust me!).
     

Side conversations are generally discouraged, being a distraction to the speaker and to others at the meeting.  It is better to let the speaker finish, and then present your comments and questions to the group.

• British English says:  the loo, a lorry.  American English says: the restroom, a truck.  We do not adhere to any specific variation of Spanish, so be curious if you make a comment!

Arrive late, leave early... No big deal!  Please just show up prepared, and make your entrance/exit quick so we can continue with the meeting.

Attendance: You are not required to attend any particular meeting.  Show up once a month, or once a quarter.  Just remember that zero attendance will result in your membership being revoked (if you're a subscriber, you will remain a subscriber until you opt-out).
 

Cash donations are accepted at the end of the meeting.
